Our products are produced in small quantities by Skilled Artisans in India.
Our beautiful napkins are made from recycled cotton saris, stitched and quilted together using a kantha stitch. They are reversible with a completely different colour sari on the reverse side. Our napkins come in packs of four, wrapped in a matching ribbon. They are 100% cotton and are 45 x 45cm (18"x18"). They are super soft.
Products are handmade so each product is unique. Where possible we have tried to match the same sari kanthas together, to make a set of 4. However, there may be variations between designs.
These gorgeous napkins are made from up-cycled cotton saris which are between 5-20 years old. Since the napkins are sourced from old saris, no two are the same and each one is unique.
These kantha napkins are sourced from Rajasthan and can take 5-12 days to make by women in rural villages. They are made from layers of vintage cotton fabric, that are quilted together using a kantha stitch. As a result, you are getting two for the price of one as they are reversible and the reverse side is usually a totally different colour and design
These beautiful napkins are very special and one of a kind, made in joyous vibrant colours.
As each set of napkins is so different, please select from the broad categories and colours below. Note: the reverse side may well be a completely different colour and design as they are reversible. This is the beauty of these gorgeous kanthas.
